1984 was the last new song book, if I recall. The Brown one.
A new version would probably be welcome, but then everyone would gripe about songs they don't know how to sing.
.
lol, i was thinking...how long before folks get sick of the same songs time and time again...will they ever get a new book?.
i reckon some nwa instrumentals wouldn't go a-miss

here i sit, in my public library, typing away a computer from a hot nasty seat.. but i wouldn't be anywhere else in the world right now.
(okay, maybe a couple of other places).
i have to be at work in 40 minutes, and its a 15 minute drive from here, so lets not expect a novel of a post.. yesterday was my birthday, and they did a little cake thing for me and all that which was nice, but otherwise, nothing is new.. my mother seems to be cooling off, but lets just say that the "excrement flinging fan" hasn't been turned off yet.. i'm 18 now, and nothing is different.
Richie,
Happy Birthday Man!!! Now that you are 18.... lets see what you can do?
Join the Military SURE
Buy Tobacco SURE (go spend $9 on a cigar, smoke it, learn how crappy tobacco really is. Be done)
Alcohol - 3 more years of getting it the old fashioned way. Sorry.
Sign a Contract - Careful, they come back to bite you in the backside! Watch the cell phone, 2 years is a long time, and they always get you for $$$ if you back out.
Credit Cards - PLEASE NO. PLLLLLLLEEEEAAASSSSEE NO. Does anyone else agree with me? There is nothing at all good about getting into debt now.
Lotto - Sure, why not? Don't get addicted.
Best of luck my friend!!
I wonder what Richie's mom would say if several hundred JWD members sent birthday cards to him?
Although I havent been to a hall in 15 years, there is apparently a MS who was working for another JW, who over the course of several years managed to skim over US$100,000 off the business. He was DF'ed, but no charges were filed. They expect to see him reinstated within a year of course. Hopefully someone drops a dime to the IRS!
i've heard from 2 independent and impeccable sources "close to the gb" (i should have been a journalist!
) that the 2007 conventions are all to be held within a one month period.
as stadiums are often booked up to five years in advance , this has caused consternation among district overseers and at least one stadium has charged the jws several thousands of pounds in a penalty clause to cancel and reschedule the booking.
Yes, brothers, Armageddon is just around the corner. But.... just in case, we are planning conventions a few years in advance.
april 2006 km:
accidents and emergencies: emergency-response services have complained that they receive many cell-phone calls over minor matters.
if a medical emergency arises at the convention site, please contact a nearby attendant, who will immedietly notiy first aid so that our qualified personnel on site can assess the seriousness of the situation and render assistance.
Darth,
Perhaps laws are different in your area, but here, a 911 call never incurs a charge to the business or orginization. The standard of an "emergency" is when a lay-person perceives that there is an emergency. We receive 911 calls for bleeding gums, back pain for 15 years, stubbed toes, and once, for directions on how long to cook a turkey.
If there is an actual medical problem, and a person is transported by ambulance, then there is a fee incurred, but is is incurred by the person transported.
We do, however, charge businesses and homeowners (householders???) for multiple false fire and burglar alarms that require a response.

i see chocolate everywhere now.
who else feels like eating chocolate when easter comes around?.
Its funny that JWs will toss the "sacred" wine and unleavened bread used at the Memorial and not eat it afterwards, but will gladly eats gobs and gobs of leftover holiday candy / turkey on sale / cheap spiral hams. Just an observation.
i don't know why this has popped into my head.
just wondering about j/w weddings.. is there music?
are there any traditions used in the ceremony?
I am sorry, I was imagining the FUN of a JW wedding, and I fell asleep...... what was the topic again?
www.reexamine.org now has two new items available from our downloads page: .
(1) district convention operations manual.
(2) public service announcements.
Its interesting to see that feminine hygeine products are not to be offered either in the rest rooms or in First Aid. The other odd thing is a repititive reference to chiropractic as a form of medical care. Perhaps there is a following? Or is it just because chiropractic care never involves blood?
the other night i was listening to npr on the radio while driving home and i heard a very interesting piece of information... the "57" in the heinz 57 brand came from occult sources!
the container says "heinz 57 varieties" but the number was never meant to literally mean they had 57 varieties of products, instead the numbers 5 and 7 have occult meaning.. i looked around on the internet and found these articles:.
